Note: This map represents each state's representation gap: what percentage more or fewer justices of color are on the state supreme court bench as compared to the portion of people of color in the general population of that state. Non-White includes individuals who are Black, Asian, Latino, Native American, or multiracial. White is limited to non-Hispanic and non-Latino whites.
